Project Manager (f/m/d)

Your role:
As a Project Manager at Aesir Interactive, you will represent a key position in our production team. You are responsible for transparency, project health and coordination as well as further developing our project management processes. You report directly to the project steering and ensure smooth workflows and effective communication between various departments.
Your Daily Work
  • Self-organization and information management.
  • Communication with internal and external departments.
  • Ensure project health by controlling risk, time, budget and quality.
  • Make projects transparent to everyone involved by collecting and reporting KPIs.
  • Develop and continuously update project planning.
  • Actively mitigate risks with the production team.
  • Schedule, moderate and evaluate project ceremonies and their outcomes. Re-adjust accordingly.
  • Leading, coordinating and motivating the team through all project phases to ensure efficient workflows and acting as a central communication interface for the production team.
  • Ensure that phases from conception and development to release and subsequent support are executed in time and based on our internal processes and guidelines.
  • Further development of project management processes and implementation of best practices.
Your Profile
  • Several years of experience in project management, ideally in game development or a related industry designing and developing products.
  • Self-organized and a hunter and gather type of personality.
  • You know what you need to function and what you need to have your project function.
  • You have a confident and authentic appearance in how you approach your environment.
  • You can explain the whats, hows and whys of what you deem necessary.
  • Profound knowledge of agile methods (e.g., Scrum/Kanban), waterfall planning and common project management tools.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Microsoft Excel and other project management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong risk management capabilities.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in team management and employee development.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both spoken and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to tackle challenges efficiently.
  • A degree in project management or a related field is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Organization: Create and update project plans and ensure its feasibility through project management ceremonies.
  • Resource Management: Budget, Time and Resource awareness in a Product development environment
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop and execute strategies to mitigate impact and / or probability.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and improve project management methods and processes.
  • Monitoring Project Progress: Track progress and objectives to ensure the project stays on schedule and within healthy boundaries.

The ideal candidate also has:
  • Passion for games, projects and an understanding of game development processes cross departments.
  • Certifications in project management, such as PM², PMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualifications.
  • Experience in implementing project management standards and processes within a company.
