Your role:

As a QA Tester at Aesir Interactive, you ensure the quality, stability, and overall player experience of our games across all development stages. You work closely with design, tech, and production teams to identify issues early, test efficiently, and help deliver high‑quality releases.

The kind of stuff you`ll be doing:

• Perform development QA from early design to final submission.
• Execute functional testing across all platforms.
• Run daily smoke tests on supported devices.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios.
• Improve and adapt test strategies as needed.
• Monitor project check-ins and collaborate with developers to track issues.
• Identify, report, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Analyze issues to find root causes and regress fixes on each release.
• Provide feedback to enhance game quality and user experience.
• Coordinate with the QA Lead for daily planning and priorities.
• Share knowledge within the QA team and follow testing best practices.
• Accurately follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.

Who are we looking for:

• Passion for gaming and testing.
• Proven QA experience on at least 2 completed game projects.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and game development.
• Quick to understand and evaluate gameplay systems.
• Motivated and enthusiastic about joining Aesir Interactive.

Your Profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Skilled troubleshooter with an analytical mindset.
• Familiar with the software development lifecycle.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in video game QA.
• Proficient in bug tracking tools like Jira.
• Experience with console compliance testing (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft).
• Familiar with console and PC configurations.
• Prior experience on a live product or a shipped AA title.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required.
